Mail-in instrument cluster repair
We rebuild instrument clusters for 2003–2006 GM trucks and SUVs. Your cluster is repaired, tested on the bench and shipped back, usually within two business days after it arrives.
The gauges in these clusters are driven by small stepper motors that wear out with age. When they go, you see one or more of these.
You keep your original cluster, so there is nothing to program when it goes back in.
Fill out the form below. We confirm your vehicle and email you a shipping address and payment link within one business day.
On these trucks it's a trim panel, four screws and one plug. Disconnect the battery first.
Pack it in a box with plenty of padding and ship it with tracking.
We replace the failed parts, test every gauge on the bench and ship it back to you with tracking.
We start with GM's 2003–2006 full-size trucks and SUVs, which share the same cluster design.

If your cluster needs more than you ordered, we ask before doing the work.

Disconnect the battery, pull the trim panel around the cluster, remove the four screws that hold it in and unplug the connector on the back. On most of these trucks it takes about 15 minutes with basic hand tools.
Wrap it in bubble wrap and put it in a sturdy box with at least two inches of padding on every side. Please don't ship it in an envelope or a padded mailer.
The truck usually runs without it, but you'll have no speedometer, gauges or warning lights. Plan to park it until the cluster is back in.
No. We repair your own cluster, so the odometer keeps its reading. We don't change or program mileage.
We contact you before doing any work you haven't approved. If we can't repair it, we ship it back and refund the repair fee.
Any part we replaced, for one year from the day we ship it back. If something we fixed fails, send the cluster back and we repair it at no charge.
We're starting with these GM trucks and SUVs and adding more older vehicles over time. Send a request with your year, make and model and we'll tell you if we can help.
